On 22 July 1978, the Ligue Sportive Francophone des Sourds (L.S.F.S.) was created in response to ministerial orders and brings together the clubs within the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
The Board of Directors is composed of:

The Ligue Sportive Francophone des Sourds (LSFS) and Dovensport Vlaanderen vzw (DSV) are the language wings of the B.D.C. (Belgian Deaf sports Committee) to promote Deaf sports in Belgium within the Deaf community.
