The Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee (BOIC) is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) that represents the Olympic Movement and its values in our country. Like the 205 other NOCs, the BOIC is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
At the European level, the BOIC is a member of the European Olympic Committees (EOC).
The BOIC is an "inter-federal" non-profit organization. The Committee coordinates the national sports federations, which usually consist of two or even three community leagues. The representatives of these 81 sports federations sit in the General Assembly of the Committee. Together they represent more than 30,000 sports clubs and more than 2,000,000 active sportspeople.
