A host of volunteers gathered in Wemmel to prepare for the organisation of the 12th European Bowling Championships. After all, this will take place from 7-17 August 2024 at the Bowlings Stones in Wemmel.
There is a lot involved in this and under the leadership of triggers such as Michel Rivez (RLS Bruxelles) and Christophe Bartholomé (Woluwe SSB), the official kick-off meeting was held on Saturday 14 October. Secretary Nicolas Rettmann & Lieven Kind (Top Sports Director) were also present.
A sponsor was also officially thanked for its support : non-profit organisation Protectorate A. Herlin - Kasterlinden.
Among others, several working groups were launched, such as:
- Media
- Transport
- Website
- Interpreters
- Results
We were also allowed to take a look at their new website (see link below).
Finally, a nice group photo was also taken of a successful afternoon!
