Herstructurering bij BDC Voetbal- en Futsalcomité vanaf volgend voetbalseizoen: "Investering in het toekomst en jeugdvoetbal"
do. 25 sep. Our football landscape will look different next season.
 Following our coordinator Bart Naudts's research and analysis of our current football operations within the BDC umbrella federation, he proposed the restructuring to our BDC General Assembly on June 28, 2025. Our clubs and committee approved his proposal to merge both committees into the Football Sports Committee, which will include senior and junior teams.

The main priorities of this new committee for our football within BDC are:
  • pursuing our new 2026-2030 policy plan with its new strategic and core objectives;
  • coordinating and guiding the junior team; and investing in our youth football.
  • For our National Teams, we will pay more attention to the new team managers and their sports staff, which will be overseen by the executive board and its sports policy.

Our youth football has seen significant growth in recent years thanks to our affiliated club SUJE, where our young players have been able to participate in the European futsal tournaments with various countries for U13 to U15 teams for the past few years. BDC Football Sport has also taken the historic step with SUJE by signing a joint MoU.

With our support and guidance, coaches and staff can also work next season to obtain their coaching diplomas at various levels with the KBVB (Royal Belgian Football Association). In this way, BDC Football Sport hopes to contribute to the attractive recruitment of volunteers for our football. In the future, the committee will also have policy officers and daily management supporting the Football Sports Committee.
