Saturday 27 August 2022 in the Wembley sports centre in Kortrijk, an open recreational sports day will be organised for everyone for athletes with a hearing impairment, as well as able-bodied relatives or people with other disabilities. There is also special attention for deafblind people!

Programme
09:30 Sports hall and changing rooms open
Throughout the day you can participate in :
Kubb, Mölkky (a new sport!), fitness (outdoors), 3x3 basketball and tennis!

From 10:00: Mountain bike (registration necessary)
=> there are 2 groups (with or without experience)
From 10h30 : Pentathlon Athletics
14:00 : Football match 11 against 11 (registration necessary)
15u00 : Walking football tournament
From 18:00 : BBQ with 3 kinds of meat - 20 euro / person
Communication evening in eatery Sport Vlaanderen Blankenberge

With this open recreational sports day for everyone (young and old as well as the disabled are welcome!) we want to make our sport better known in society because there are too many people with a hearing impairment who find it difficult to find the way to sports practice because of their handicap and we want to offer them the opportunity to get out of their isolation.

This day is therefore not only about sports, but also about giving them the opportunity to communicate with fellow sufferers and others who know about this impairment.
