100 years after the very first Deaflympics in 1924 (Summer Games in Paris) will take place in Erzurum (Turkey) for the very first time!
In 2017, Turkey did organise the Summer Deaflympics in Samsun, but this time Turkey wants to invite all top deaf athletes to Erzurum.
Following sports will be covered:
- Snowboard
- Alpine Skiing
- Cross Country Skiing
- Ice hockey
- Curling
- Futsal (new)
- Chess (new)
Once again, Belgium will not be represented by our athletes.
Belgium has never been able to compete in the Winter Deaflympics in the past....
