Saturday 26 August 2023 Sport Vlaanderen sports centre in Herentals will host an open recreational sports day for everyone for sportspeople with a hearing impairment as well as able-bodied relatives or the differently-abled.

Programme
09:30 Sports hall and dressing rooms are open
Throughout the day you can participate in :
Mapico (a new sport!), Zumba, Squash, Kubb, Mölkky, Spikeball, Judo, Petanque and Walking Football (7x7)!
From 10 a.m. : Mountain bike (registrations required)
From 18h00 : BBQ - 25 euro / person

With this open recreational sports day for everyone (young and old as well as the able-bodied are welcome!), we want to make our sport better known in society because there are too many people with a hearing impairment who find it difficult to find their way to sports practice because of their disability to give them the opportunities to get out of their isolation.
So this day is not only to offer sports but also to give them the opportunity to interact among peers and others who have knowledge of this disability.
