BDC learned of the passing of Isaac Dorn, member of R.L.S. Bruxelles and a great sportsman who achieved many great results, especially in basketball, both with the RLS Brussels deaf team and the national team in the period from 1953 to 1969.
Later, he played petanque regularly with his club.
He participated four times in the Deaflympics in basketball:
- 1953 Brussels (Belgium) = Gold,
- 1957 Milan (Italy) = Silver,
- 1961 Helsinki (Finland) = 4th place
- 1969 Belgrade (Yugoslavia) = 7th place
We will miss his sportsmanship and smile and wish his family much strength during this difficult time.
