Geslaagde organisatie van het EK Bowling in Wemmel
di. 20 aug. 3 Bronze medals at the EC for Belgium!
The closing banquet at Hotel Thon in Brussels on Saturday 17 August 2024 marked the end of the European Bowling Championships, which were organised for the 12th time.

In 1994, Belgium had already organised a European Championship, now 30 years later, Belgium did this for a second time in Brussels.

The organising committee, led by the trio Michel Rivez, Rita Fedotova & Christophe Bartholomé, did a great job with this organisation, we can be proud that we can organise a high-quality sporting event with limited resources. This would have been impossible without the support of sponsors, many volunteers and various sports federations.

The Belgian team consisted of 6 men & 5 women and ultimately won 3 medals:

  • Doubles: Christophe Bartholomé & Paul Simons with a bronze medal.
  • Teams: Christophe Bartholomé, Paul Simons, Thomas Bartholomé, Michel Rivez & Vincent Lorant with a bronze medal.
  • All Events: Christophe Bartholomé with a bronze medal.

The organisation committee together with the BDC wants to thank all volunteers, supporters and certainly the athletes together with their coach for their commitment & all efforts to make this event unforgettable for everyone!

Below you will find all the winners per category, photos & the official results.
